Learning and Growing: Gardening with Children
Description
Whether it’s bringing the outdoors in during the winter or enjoying the beauty of a Spring, Summer or Fall day; gardening offers children the opportunity to learn about nature and science in many different ways. Participants will learn how to plan and execute a learning experience in gardening that supports children’s skills such as: nutrition, language and literacy, science, motor skills, spatial awareness and various social skills.
