Childcare providers tend to focus on the behaviors that are seen and often think they happen for no reason. When we chase the why of the behaviors and look at the causes and triggers of what is happening in the body, to the body, and outside the body, we discover that the behaviors are happening based on a cause or trigger. This course aims to create curiosity and awareness in childcare providers, helping them to learn how individual differences, sensory processing, body needs and thoughts, feelings, and emotions impact behaviors.
This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
