Description

Gain a basic understanding of child development of children birth to age eight. In this course, you will learn the typical developmental milestones of a child’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth and the importance of supervision as related to a child’s development.

Take this course and earn clock-hours towards Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s initial health and safety training requirements for basic child development. This course is also included in the Foundations for Safe and Healthy Early Care Facilities Module, which includes all KDHE initial health and safety training requirements in one course.
