Description

Engage in a sequence of four modules for early childhood education professionals. Explore the foundation of the Missouri Model?s Developmental Framework for Trauma-Informed Approaches with the latest understanding of how the COVID global pandemic and systematic social inequities impact the experiences of young children and their families. This entry-level overview or refresher of this topic will provide background and basics on trauma-informed approaches. The objectives of this training align with the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Professional Standards and Competencies for Early Childhood Professionals (2019) and the Division for Early Childhood?s Professional Preparation Standards for Early Interventionists and Early Childhood Special Educators (2020).

This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
