In this course, you will explore the signs, symptoms, and causes of SBS, as well as effective strategies for coping with crying, soothing infants, and prioritizing self-care. You’ll learn about the Period of PURPLE Crying, a common stage in infant development, and discover Kansas’s efforts in SBS prevention, including how to communicate this information to families.
