Children with Chronic Health Care Needs in Child Care
Description
Children with special health care needs are often in out-of-home settings for a large portion of their day attending child care programs. Add to your basic knowledge of children with special health care needs to provide the best quality and safest care for a child with special health care needs. In this course, you will learn to develop and implement care plans and learn about emergency planning and transportation for these children.
Take this course and earn 2 clock hours towards the Kansas Department of Health and Environment's annual health and safety training requirements.
This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
