Child Abuse and Neglect: Identification, Reporting, and Prevention
Description
This course is designed to empower educators with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to signs of child maltreatment. Participants will learn to identify symptoms and behaviors that may indicate a child is experiencing child maltreatment. Additionally, the course will cover effective strategies for preventing child maltreatment through proactive engagement with children and their families.
This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
Take this course and earn 3 clock hours towards the Kansas Department of Health and Environment's initial health and safety training requirements.
