Basics of Child Development

Description

In this asynchronous training, you’ll acquire a basic understanding into child development spanning from birth to age eight, including information on the Approaches to Learning for infants through preschool. You’ll explore the typical developmental milestones for a child’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive domains. Additionally, the course will cover the importance of supervision as it relates to the child?s development.

Take this course and earn 3 clock hours towards the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s initial health and safety training requirements.

This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
