Sign, Sign, Baby: Using Baby Signs

Description

Wouldn’t it be nice if a baby could communicate their wants and needs prior to spoken language? Baby sign language teaches children to communicate and express their wants, needs, likes, and dislikes before they are able to verbally speak. In this training, participants will learn the stages of language development, common concerns, strategies to support language development, and learn 15 simple baby signs to apply to practice.

This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
