PDG New Provider Cohort: Family Matters Learning Community
Are you a newly licensed Family Child Care Provider that has received your initial license within the past 36 months AND would like to learn and connect with others?
Join this 3-month learning community and engage with a small group of other new professionals to explore ways to engage families, build effective communication skills, examine conflict resolution strategies and shared decisions, and understand the definition and impacts of homelessness. During this learning community, you will complete 11 hours of professional development and engage in live discussions during two (2) Zooms (optional) and three (3) individual check-ins (required) with your Training and Technical Assistance Specialist. As a bonus you will receive support materials in the last week of the Learning Community to help support your success with engaging families and building relationships. As a participant of this Learning Community, you will have early registration for a Live Virtual Event offered during this session.
The course bundle includes the following courses that will begin on February 2 and go through March 9, 2023:
- Recognizing and Supporting Families Experiencing Homelessness
- Power of Positive Communication
Registration is available only for new family child care providers: Newly licensed within the last 36 months (about 3 years).
