Live Virtual: Supportive Environments

Description

Join us for this LIVE virtual training about the importance of supportive environments in early language and literacy development. Supportive environments tell children that they are loved and that their work is valued. High-quality supportive environments that are inviting, comfortable, and respectful of all children and families’ diversity support and nurture each child’s language and literacy development. Spaces speak! Add to your understanding of a language and literacy-rich supportive environment. Learn how to identify the key components of a supportive environment and explore strategies to promote and enrich children’s early literacy experiences. This virtual training requires you to use a webcam or front-facing camera to create a more interactive and engaging learning experience. Details about access to the training launchpad will be provided via email the day before the virtual training.

This course includes both asynchronous and synchronous elements.
