Description
Administering medication to young children in child care settings is a major part of the effort in helping young children recover from illness, preventing illness, and working with parents and guardians for the best outcomes for the child. This two-hour live virtual training will review the essentials of medication administration: The 5 Rights of Medication Administration, The Triangle of Responsibility, Medication Administration Policies and Practices, and Documentation Procedures.
This virtual training requires you to use a webcam or front-facing camera to create a more interactive and engaging learning experience.
Take this course and earn 2 clock hours towards Kansas Department of Health and Environment annual health and safety training requirements.
This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals.
