Throughout this introductory course, participants will study typical developmental behaviors displayed by infants and toddlers, identify temperament types, and understand the importance of creating a goodness of fit for all children in a child care program. The course explores ways to respond effectively during a biting situation, develop strategies for supporting children who bite, and effective strategies for guidance during daily routines.
This course is appropriate for professionals who care for infants and toddlers in both family child care and center-based programs.
