Children with Chronic Health Care Needs in Child Care

Description

This intermediate-level course is designed for individuals who have a basic knowledge of children with special health care needs. Children with special health care needs are often in out-of-home settings for a large portion of their day as they attend child care programs. Participants will be able to learn how to develop and implement care plans to establish the best quality and safest care for a child with special health care needs. Also, for children with special health care needs, specific considerations during emergency planning and transportation are included.

The course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals.
