This course will review infant and toddler’s behavior and through observation and connection with families, determine what the child is trying to tell the adults. Temperament and developmental continuum’s will be reviewed as well to help align developmental expectations with the skills of the child. Adult reflection will also be used to help each person become aware of their own beliefs, values and perceptions and how that influences their caregiving to support infant and toddler social emotional development.
This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals.
