Mindfulness—an integrative, mind-body approach that supports present-moment awareness—helps professionals navigate complex work environments with greater clarity, steadiness, and emotional balance. More than forty years of research demonstrate that developing mindfulness skills can reduce stress and emotional reactivity; strengthen resilience and working memory; and enhance empathy, compassion, and relationship quality.
Within child-centered fields, mindfulness training has been shown to reduce burnout, improve emotion regulation, and support more attuned and effective engagement with educators, families, and organizational teams. These skills support more intentional, responsive practice in daily professional interactions. Designed for center directors, this course awards 6 hours of Program Administration training upon completion.
