Staff motivation and morale can be a big factor in the child care program’s stability and success. “More Than a Good Job” will support ways to set up a positive climate that motivates staff and encourages program directors in making environmental changes that increase employee morale and motivation. This training discusses how using a survey can identify areas where staff need support, and allows for networking with other directors about ways to motivate staff that will reduce burnout. The importance of mental health, both for staff and program director will also be covered during this session.
