Kansas Early Learning Standards Tool Kit: An Overview

Kansas Early Learning Standards (KELS) are intended to be a guideline for tracking a child’s progress in gaining foundational skills while allowing individual differences in development to shine through. The purpose of the KELS Virtual Toolkit is to provide early care and education practitioners and families with online resources for the appropriate use of early learning standards for children, birth to five years of age, consistent with professional guidelines, and current research.
