This introductory course is designed to support infant and toddler staff and caregivers in the creation of a healthy space for infants and toddlers. The course guides participants in understanding responsive caregiving for infants and toddlers through creation of schedules that support routines and transitions. Participants will take a closer look at mealtimes, diapering/toileting, rest times, transitions, and the importance of creating a schedule to meet the needs of infants and toddlers.
This course is appropriate for professionals who care for infants and toddlers in both family child care and center-based programs.
