Family Partnerships

Building strong partnerships with families is key to supporting every child’s growth and success. This course explores how early childhood professionals can create meaningful connections with families by recognizing their vital role in their child’s care and learning. Participants will learn effective ways to share information, communicate with respect, and celebrate the unique backgrounds and experiences that each family brings. Practical strategies will be provided to help educators invite families to actively participate in program activities, strengthening collaboration and trust between home and program.
This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
