Course Description

Learn about the six safe sleep practices to utilize in the prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in early care facilities.  Content also covers environmental factors and the creation of a Safe Sleep policy for your program.

This course meets KDHE health and safety training requirements for safe sleep practices and sudden infant death syndrome, including supervision of children, found in K.A.R. 28-4-428a. (b)(2)(C).  Meets 2 of the 4 hours of the Annual Health and Safety Topic Requirement.
