Course Description

In this course, participants will explore the basic principles and techniques of menu planning using USDA CACFP Meal pattern requirements and Caring for Our Children best practice standards. Additionally, information explores understanding nutritional standards and reading nutrition labels.  Have a picky eater?  This course also includes methods to help encourage picky eaters to expand their food choices as well as strategies for introducing new foods to children.
