Join us in this course and learn how to help young children and their families cope with the struggles of sensory processing disorder in their daily activities of life. You will learn how to develop a repertoire of practical sensory solutions for young children, which address challenges specific to each of the 7 sensory systems. Sensory strategies will target difficulties in childhood occupations such as playing, eating, sleeping, bathing, and dressing. Participants will learn techniques such as how to calm a fussy infant, proper swaddling, mealtime “food rules,” and more.
