Child Care Transportation Safety
Description
Learn how to safely transport children in childcare, including proper safety and fitting child safety seats in this foundation course. Learn about policies to help protect children from vehicle heat-related and collision-related injuries. Gain knowledge about transportation safety for children developed in collaboration with the Kansas Transportation Safety Resource Office.
Take this course and earn 1.5 clock hours towards the Kansas Department of Health and Environment's annual health and safety training requirements.
This course is appropriate for all early care and education professionals in center-based and family child care settings.
