Course Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cites injuries as the leading cause of death among children. This course will provide participants with the basic understanding of the importance of indoor and outdoor inspections of the environment to keep children safe, safety measures in regards to fire prevention, and the importance of supervision in regards to water safety. This course also includes information about KDHE licensing regulations and best practice standards from Caring for Our Children, 3rd Ed.
This course meets KDHE health and safety training requirements for building and physical premises safety, found in K.A.R. 28-4-428a. (b)(2)(F).
