Course Description

Caregivers can make a difference in the brain development of young children.  Children need positive interactions with caregivers in safe, secure environments, and the oportunity to explore their worlds to develop and strengthen connections in the brains wiring.  This course explores how the care of young children can affect the development of the brain.  The course is adapted with permission from the Better Brains for Babies curriculum. This course is the second Better Brains course and it is recommended that participants complete Better Brains 1: Foundations in Brain Development and Learning before completing this course.
