Course Description

The first few years of life are crucial for brain development.  Researchers continue to discover new information about brain development in young children and how everyday experiences affect the way the brain creates connections.  When caregivers understand brain anatomy and how the brain develops, they can support and make a difference in early brain development in young children.  The course is adapted with permission from the Better Brains for Babies curriculum.  It is recommended to complete this course before Better Brains 2: Brain Development and Care of Children.
